Behind The Scenes
Here at Micah and Co., we pride ourselves on providing top design services for our clients. Part of what makes that service successful is our process. Today, we wanted to give you a behind the scenes look into what working with Micah and Co. entails.
Phase One: Let’s Work Together!
Before the design process begins, we love to learn about our clients and their projects. An initial phone call does just that! During this initial call, we discuss budget, timeline, project scope, and expectations. We love to learn about your unique home and style, as well as what inspires you!
Phase Two: Meet Your Designer
After your initial call, a Micah and Co. Lead Designer will reach out to you to provide you with our Client Investment Guide and Design Contract. At this time, your initial design appointment will be set. We ask that you send us any design inspiration you have for your space at this time, as well!
Phase Three: The Design Board
After receiving your design inspiration, an initial Design Board will be created. At our first meeting, we love to discuss it with you! At this time, we truly learn your likes and dislikes, and how to best design your space with those elements in mind. Many selections for your space will be made at this meeting, saving you time and providing a list that can be given to your builder or contractor(s).
Phase Four: On-Site Meetings
After our initial meeting, we will finalize your design board and begin making actual selections for your space. These selections will be hyperlinked on your design board! Also during this phase, we begin to schedule appointments to make selections for your home alongside you, such as flooring, cabinet hardware, and lighting. All locations, vendors, and sources will be approved by your builder.
Phase Five: Project Completion
Once your project is finished, and you are happy with your space, we love to complete projects with professional photographs!
