What to Expect From Your Cabinet Hardware Selection Meeting
Oh, how we love cabinet hardware meetings at Micah and Co.! Cabinet hardware is the jewelry of your home. It can really help to define your interior design style!
Phase One:First, we will either visit your home to take photographs of all cabinetry, or we will obtain a copy of your cabinetry renderings. This step is imperative for the success of your hardware selection meeting to ensure a proper count of needed hardware is taken for each space.
Phase Two:
Updated and Approved Design Board
Now that we know how many knobs and pulls your home will need, it is time to narrow down the finish of the hardware for each space. This is done using your Design Board selections! We will include lighting and plumbing selections on your Design Board, when available, and will select hardware that suits these selections. Before we meet to select hardware, it is important that your Design Board is up-to-date and approved by you!
Phase Three:
Selection time!
With counts taken and finishes selected, it is time to select your hardware! During our meeting, we will select hardware one space at a time, notating the brand, style, finish, size, and install location for each piece. We discuss hardware placement at this time, as well, reference the images below. As selections are made, you will begin to see your home become more finalized, as we create drawings for each space to ensure proper installation.
Phase four: Quote, Order, Pick-up, and Installation
At the conclusion of your hardware selection appointment, all needed information is sent via email to your representative, and they will begin the quoting process. Curious about when your quote will be available? You can reach out to us, and we can give you an estimated arrival date!
Once the quote is drafted, it is sent to our team for review and we will email for your approval.
Once the invoice is paid, your hardware order will take place!
When all needed hardware has arrived, you will be contacted by us for hardware pick-up! Then, with installation drawings and hardware in-hand, you are ready to complete your home’s cabinet hardware selection with installation!
We would love to help you bring your cabinetry dreams to reality here at Micah and Co.! Please feel free to reach out to us here to schedule your cabinet hardware selection meeting.
